I often ask my husband, "How did you manage to induce so many of your genes in so small time-window that you had? ". I better not write his answer (:P), but what i mean is, I carried Shreyas for 9 months, but he is replica of his Dad. He talks like Dad, he walks like Dad.He laughs like Dad,he dresses like Dad and so on..
See your self:
He is a happy child, who loves to talk and laugh. Also, very independent by nature and doesn't like to be treated as a baby. He never cries at school, never wants to hold Mamma's hand in public. One day when i went to pick him up, i lifted him and planted a kiss. His face flushed with embarrassment and he almost yelled, "Mamma, Shreyu is not a baby!". I never tried that again in public :|
Well, when we are at home, It is totally a different story. Sometimes, i have to threaten him with a time-out for excessive hugging and kissing Mamma!
He is independent to the extent that he wants to do everything by himself. He finishes his milk only because then on that day, he gets to clean himself, after 'Poo-poo' :|.
On first day of school (22nd Feb 2011):
Generally sweet,mild-mannered but sometimes little 'bullheaded'. He gets upset only when, there is change in routine without prior notice. Like, If i make a right-turn when street-light is red (its free right-turn here. But he is too young to understand), I get a long lecture on my driving skills. Or, he doesn't mind showing his displeasure, if i forgot to put my shoes in shoe-rack or if i forgot to wash my hands after coming from park or if i didn't exercise or.. Who is Mamma here?
I really hope, that where-ever she is, if already born (my future daughter-in-law), is little more flexible and giving little less hard time to her Mommy.
A nature lover and has a remarkable appetite for mountain climbing. He loves in the midst of nature and generally the youngest climber around.
He is good in arts. He loves to draw and paint . Few months back, he made Mamma's portrait and believe me, i look EXACTLY like this..
Yesterday, i took him to donate his old tricycle and clothes that he outgrew to under-privileged children. And i was really proud, that he could give his much-loved things so easily. Baby, please never change!
There is no greater pleasure for me than watching you grow :)
@2 years and 11 months of Shreyas
