Birthday post...belated

I totally adore the place I currently live in. One reason: it is like this at the time of my Birthday-

 

I am child of Spring and take this fact very seriously. So any place where Spring doesn't arrive by Feb 22nd (I don't care about official dates..I mean real Spring) is already thumbs down in my list..You think, Not very mature thoughts from someone who turned 33 four days ago. Huh? I say, You must be a new reader then. Hen Heh! 

    So Birthday was spent walking miles and miles with my precious two, chasing duckies and birdies, clicking all these blooming flowers and feeling grateful and blessed. Blessed for having people in my life who truly love me the way I am. For having husband who takes chutti and drives around 80 miles so that wifey can enjoy her b'day the way she likes and my kiddo for just the way he is..and ensuring that Mommy was having a great day!

    But when you are six months pregnant and spend b'day like that, you are most likely going to spend next day in bed with swollen feet and in half dizzy state. Hehehe..

From last few years I am observing..I might be be crankiest person around for 364 days a year (what else do you expect from a working-expecting-married-mommy-with zero house help? *raised eyebrows*), I feel extremely content on my b'day.  
And I know, if I continue feeling same on my b'day for next 33 years..I will conclude I had a very good life. And now some B'day resolutions for this year..  

1. Create and create some more.. And I don't mean by just creating babies. I think I will be done once Baby Jacuzzi arrives. Err...atleast for next few years. See boys, won't you like to have a kid sister in few years. Hun....hun? :)
         

   

I learnt crochet and made these winter topies for  my boys.  And now I am making blanket for baby Jacuzzi. Would love to continue more this year. 

  

Also my birds..no sorry..Shreyu's birds. Remember the bird feeder we put few days ago? Now our balcony is slowly turning into a bird sanctuary :) Also, they are no more scared of me, rather (I think)they call out for me when their feeder is empty. I am planning to spend some time and money in next few months  to make my balcony even happier place. Pics..if and when it is ready.  
      

2. Keep working on my own terms:  On last b'day I cribbed about my job..But sometime between last birthday and this birthday I actually started liking it . My work, my colleagues (even my company) have become important part of my life. I realized, Freedom is only thing I always want... You give me freedom and I will be your willing slave. You start putting boundaries and I will leave. And thats exactly I have it here. Freedom. And thats what matters!

3. Learn to wear that damn eye-liner:  I totally love those sexy kohl-rimmed eyes. But when I wear it..I endup looking like a bhoot. Nonetheless  time to time I get this attack to learn eye makeup.. I spend good $$ to buy all kinds of eye makeup products..look like a bhoot for few days. Slowly, it fades away, I throw all the stuff..look normal with my plain eyes..then I see some gorgeous kohl-rimmed eyes  and it starts all again....
              So will learn to wear it without looking like a bhoot :)

As Shreyu is exploring wondrous world of words these days..my fireplace had never served better purpose before...
          But what I am most happy about is not that he can make simple words on his own (with occasional help). Many kids of his age might be doing that or better. Its something else...Did you notice 'A' in CAT and 'S' in Jellyfish. He came up with those alternatives when he ran out of required letters :)
